Hello!
My name is Athea; welcome to my studio! I am happy to serve my community through alterations, mending, and design.
My business was founded in honor of my beloved family dog, Chance. Chance was a rescue, and somehow our paths happened to cross. That experience shaped the way I see the world and the things we care for.
Clothing is a core identity to being human in which we all share. Everything we wear has a story to tell. Their stories last longer than we think, and I am grateful to help give them a second chance, to extend their lives and imagine what they can become.
With a bachelors degree in Textile and Fashion design and environmental studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I am passionate about creative, tactile, and practical work. Through my studio, House of Chance, I strive to support sustainability and creative practice in my community.
